September 12th - Eagle Point Lodge September 13th - Clinton Country Club September 14th - Brunch @ The Corner Deli
Now this was a great weekend. A little wet, but that did not dampen our spirits. Started off with the gathering at Eagle Point attended by at least 160 of our classmates and spouses. A few brave souls did the Mississippi River Eco tour on Saturday morning and around 80 of us showed up at the Wide River Winery, run by our own Chuck Pelton and his wife Dorothy, to sample their fine selection of wines. After a brief rest period, we reconvened at the Clinton Country Club for the group photo, social hour, dinner, program and dancing. Sunday some of us reconvened at the Corner Deli, on the corner of 5th Ave South and 3rd St for breakfast followed by an architectural tour of downtown hosted by Mike Kearney.
I have almost 500 pictures from John Frampton, Mike Kearney,
Harvey Evers and Ruth Dawson-Wiedman plus mine, so it will take a little while to get them organized and on the site.
We have room for more so e-mail to CHS1958@comcast.net or send me a disc with your pictures on it...
In case you missed John Frampton's announcement, the slide show, with over 700 pictures on it from previous reunions, is available in DVD format for $10.00 from Jerry Lein. Mail a check to Jerry Lein, 7094 Danbrooke, W Bloomfield, MI 48322-2951 and a DVD will be mailed to you. Distribution should begin in early October..
