I am sorry I will not be able to attend the 65th Party. Happy Birthday to all. However, share this with all.

Linda and I would love to attend the 65th party, but my mother is terminally ill with cancer, and we are going on a day to day basis, as far as a trip to Iowa is concerned. We have been there two times already, and know that we will have to make a third trip. If the timing is right, and I know before the deadline, I will consider it. Hope all is well with you, and if nothing else, I will plan on seeing you at our next reunion, the good Lord willing.
Candy Kabrick Utroska - Thanks for the reminder. I hope I can come. We are moving the next week, so I am hesitating. I hope I can make the decision by Sept. 1.
Karen Meggenberg - Don't know if I'll be making it back for the 65th bash 'cuz I have been coming that way for "The Bix" in July plus my brother and wife have time off in the summer since she is still teaching. My brother, who is six
years younger, retired a year before me which I was finally able to do as
of May 1, 2004. I do work part time, however, during the day, around 20
hours a week, which works out well for now. This still gives me time to
do other things too. I'll have to really think about the birthday bash.
